Easy & Delicious Veggie Pizza!
Hey Queens, I love a great pizza!
Normally I make my own plant based crust which requires only 3-4 ingredients but this time I cheated a little!
Pasta is my favorite but you best believe that pizza comes next!
By now I am sure that you see that I like easy healthy recipes that only have a few minimal ingredients but where you are still getting the nutrients and minerals in the process!
I made this delicious Veggie Pizza for lunch today for my husband and I and this is how I did it!
First, I sautéed my onions & veggies with a little Grapeseed oil in my cast iron skillet for a few minutes only! I used Onions, Mushrooms, Red, Yellow, & Green Bellpeppers, and Broccoli with seasonings of your choice, (sea salt, garlic powder, onion powder, all purpose seasoning or whatever you normally season your veggies with!
And right before I turned the stove top off of the veggies, I added a handful of Baby Spinach to the veggie mixture and let it cook for only a few minutes!
In the meantime , I took my flat bread out the package and spreaded pesto sauce on the crust as my base sauce instead of Marinara Sauce.
I purchased this flat bread at Kroger in the bakery dept!
And as you can see, I then spreaded the Pesto Sauce on the crust (Sorry, I don't have a pic of the Pesto Sauce jar, it was thrown away)🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
And then I took the sautéed veggies 🥦 and put them on top of the sauce, I tried to spread the veggies evenly!
Then I poured some Vegan Mozzarella Cheese on top, it comes in a liquid and I also purchased it at Kroger!
Then I placed it in the oven on a flat pan, I put my oven on 400 and I baked it for 8 to 10 minutes and that was it!
I topped it with some dried parsley and some Vegan Parmesan Cheese (sorry I don't have a picture of the Vegan Parmesan)
This is quick, nutritious, and delicious, and I know that you're going to love this!
